Research shows that children who read well early on are far more successful in later years; and those who fall behind often stay behind when it comes to academic achievement. Reading opens the door to learning about math, history, science, literature, geography and much more. Thus, young, capable readers can succeed in these subjects, take advantage of other opportunities (such as reading for pleasure) and develop confidence in their own abilities. On the other hand, those students who cannot read well are much more likely to drop out of school and be limited to low-paying jobs throughout their lives. Reading is undeniably critical to success in today's society.

Our Reading Recipes have proven to be 100% successful with every student. Each series of recipes is based on the 5 vowels (short vowels) – AEIOU. The pre-requisite for this class is the Phonics Recipes. An assessment will be required prior to enrollment to ensure the student has mastered the phonetic sounds.

These simple reading recipes are conceptualized using a specific system of blending where students will master easy reading techniques, learning how to blend consonant’s with short vowels, the meaning of the words and application of words in simple sentences. Every lesson will introduce a series of friends called ‘sight words”.

Our Reading Recipes cater to all ages from 36 months to grade 3.
